Learning in rented office space will soon be history for Academy students thanks to a generous donation of 18-acres of land located on Route 15/501 across from Legacy Golf Links. At this location, the new Academy campus will be built after a rigorous season of fundraising. Unlike traditional public schools, charter schools receive no capital funds for facility construction and must rely on the generosity of the community.
Plans for the new campus are well underway and include a school building with nine classrooms, science lab, computer room, library, music room, Exceptional Education facilities, multipurpose room, gymnasium and athletic fields.
Be sure to check back often and monitor the progress as the land is cleared and the building goes up!
